Bio: The 1st American Volunteer Group (AVG) of the Chinese Air Forces in 1941–1942, famously nicknamed the Flying Tigers, was composed of pilots from the United States Army (USAAF), Navy (USN), and Marine Corps (USMC), recruited under presidential authority and commanded by Claire Lee Chennault. The ground crew and headquarters staff were likewise mostly recruited from the U.S. military, along with some civilians.

Any one who would like to fly a Viper and join this group must first download the Viper Training Manual and complete the multiple choice test at the end:

I would also like to wish Lt Hitman a belated Happy Birthday. Lt Hitman turned 18 or something like that on May 1st this year!
Back when I was commander of the squadron I was in the process of compiling a list of everyone's B'days. Even still when we get busy even if we have such a list, days like this go by without being noticed.
I would like to thank each and everyone of you for your service and friendship to the squadron and the BFC. I may miss your special day, but you are in my thoughts and Prayers.
