If you are interested, Clash Of Civilizations is a good cross over e-book for Battlestar Galactica and Star Trek. It does have adult content though, so not for the kiddies. Good reading! So say we all! :o) http://www.clashofcivilizations.co/
Hi New Member. So now you've joined the Fan Club, and maybe you've expressed an interest in joining a Ship or Chapter or interest Group, like the Raven. May I suggest you consider formally joining a Fan Club sub-group, like "Battlestar Raven - BFC 002" or another Group. They're all on the list of 57 interest groups under "Groups" in the bar below the Club logo. Joining the Raven Group provides internal communications for Raven Chapter Members. Then if you like the Marine Detachment or one of the Squadrons or other Raven Teams you can join those departments within the Raven Group or any other. Any Group you join will show up on your home page and you can link to it there. You will also receive notices on your personal email when anything new is posted on your member Groups. You should only join one Ship, but you can usually join as many interest Groups as you wish. It's a very detailed and compartmentalized system, but once you get the hang of it the layout makes sense. The main thing is ask any member questions on anything that interests you. We're glad to help since we're all here for the fun and friendship. Where else can you fly Viper missions or gear up and go hand to gland with some toasters? Enjoy. Regards, Paul "Iceworm" Oakley, Battlestar Raven Colonial Marine Detachment.
Happy Birthday and a belated welcome aboard Jordyn. It's easy to understand how someone that looks like Starbuck likes her character best. Glad you've joined the Club. You're in with a great group. The Fan Club organization is very spread out, covering a lot of subjects, activities and options. Take some time and explore the nooks and corners of the site, it's well worth the effort. You'll find groups that share your interests and members always ready to help. You may want to consider joining the Raven and one of it's support departments, or one of the Squadrons as a pilot, and certainly the Colonial Marine Detachment. If you want to join the Raven, may I suggest you go to the "Groups" list above and select the Raven. Then you can see our link on your page and take part in our discussions Don't hesitate to ask questions. Enjoy. See you on deck. Regards, Paul "Iceworm" Oakley, Battlestar Raven Marine Detachment
Happy Birthday Jardyn cheers
Hello, Welcome to the Battlestar Fan Club. Enjoy your stay and have fun as you make new friends. I noted on your profile today is your day Happy Birthday to you enjoy and have an awesome day. Be safe and take care.
The following are some good sources that I have come across for uniforms and ensembles for both versions of Battlestar Galactica, and even some props and Centurion outfits. It’s much more fun to suit-up at conventions and pose with the stars as well as for your own vanity and profile pics. You and some friends could also suit-up and make some movies for sharing with the club and on You Tube.
If you or any you know are interested in Battlestar Galactica uniforms from the re-imagined series, here are several to pick from. I got a flight suit and Commander’s blues from these folks a few years ago. Not bad for the price. You can modify at will.

Welcome to the Battlestar Fan Club, Welcome to the Atlantia, and Welcome to the fleet! So say we ALL!
This is a great club to be in, and you can meet lots of people from all over with a common interest. It's always more fun if you actively participate as well. You can add your own blogs, discussions, video clips, photos etc. (Just keep it decent for public viewing, and please no personal attacks…We want it to be fun and pleasant for everybody!)
You can also join several Battlestars, squadrons, the Colonial Marines, and already existing discussion forums as well. The more people commenting on these sites, the more fun and interesting it becomes, AND you get to put in you own two cubits.
We also have Galacticon 3 coming up, which is absolutely the opportunity of a lifetime! Very rarely if ever will you find so many stars from both versions of Battlestar Galactica at once, and actually be able to meet and talk to them!
It's also lots of fun to suit up in your favorite uniform for pics or at conventions. There is still time for Galacticon 3. If you or anybody you know are interested I can give you a list of some good sources for uniforms, ensembles, and even props from both versions of Battlestar Galactica.
If you are interested in studying up on the ships, weapon systems, etc. from both versions of Battlestar Galactica, I can point you to information on the site for that as well…Everything practical and tactical.
Please scan through all of the site and find what interests you, and we invite you to participate as much as possible…It’s always much more interesting and fun to get as many views, opinions, and ideas as possible. The more the merrier.
At the top of the home page is a section called Groups. It has all of the groups and Battlestars. You can also click this link: http://battlestarfanclub.com/groups . Please give them all a good look and decide what interests you!
If there is any way I can help you settle in, or if you have any questions, I will do my best to help you, or refer you to others who can.
Sincerely,
John David Feagin
