"There are those who believe that life here began out there, far across the universe, with tribes of humans who may have been the forefathers of the Egyptians, or the Toltecs, or the Mayans. Some believe that there may yet be brothers of man who even now fight to survive, somewhere beyond the heavens."

Welcome aboard Akera. Glad to have you in the Crew. You may want to also join the Group Battlestar Raven - BFC 002, as your Squadron is on the Raven. Much of your information and dialog will happen on that page. Also the Raven FaceBook page. Both follow:

Ask questions of anyone and about anything. Enjoy. Cheers.

Sgt. Paul "Iceworm" Oakley, Colonial Marine Detachment (MARDET) NCOIC, Battlestar Raven - BFC 002.

If you are interested, Clash Of Civilizations is a good cross over e-book for Battlestar Galactica and Star Trek. It does have adult content though, so not for the kiddies. Good reading! So say we all! :o)  http://www.clashofcivilizations.co/

Hello, Mirage, and WELCOME to the Battlestar Fan Club!  It's a great club, and we all hope you really enjoy it.  It's the most fun if everybody participates, so please post and boast on the forums and discussions, (and meet new friends who share a common interest) as well as check out all of the groups you can participate in. (Just look up at the top bar and pick Groups.)  There are battlestars eager for you to sign up, as well as squadrons, you name it, even Pyramid and Cylon stuff!  Lots of the groups are into discussing certain topics, while others are into role playing, so just check it out and find what interests you the most.  Feel free also to start your OWN groups, topics, blogs, discussions, etc.  The more who participate the more fun it is for all.

Okay, again WELCOME to the Battlestar Fan Club. SO SAY WE ALL!!!!

Hi Mirage,

You don't have to take the Viper exam before you choose which squadron you join. The choice is yours to make. Have fun and welcome aboard the best Battlestar in the Fleet!!!!!

Welcome aboard the Battlestar Raven Mirage, it's great to have you join our crew! ! ! !

I see that your favorite BSG character is Adama. I’m a fan of both Old and New Galactica and my favorite character is Starbuck from both series. When it comes to Cylon skin jobs, I’m partial to the 6’s and the 8’s.

I see you’re interested in becoming a Viper pilot you couldn’t have come to a better place than the Battlestar Raven BFC-002. Colonel Leonidas mentioned our squadrons and gave you a link to the Viper Training Manual. These are links to the Viper/Raptor and CDF Ops Manuals: http://battlestarfanclub.com/group/flying-tigers-squadron-logo/forum/topics/viper-and-raptor-training-manuals

The BFC is all about having fun and I recommend new pilots to take all three exams to be all you can be in the Battlestar Galactica Universe.

Presently there is one Raptor and six Viper squadrons aboard the Battlestar Raven. You can check all of them out at this link:  http://battlestarfanclub.com/groups/group/listByLocation?location=Battlestar+Raven

At the present time Spartan, Perseus, Hammer, Minotaur and Blackstar squadrons are shorthanded and are looking for more pilots.

The Battlestar Raven is becoming a Battle Group with the addition of the Gunstar Trireme. Gunstar Trireme is looking for crew members as well. Take a look at this link if you’re interested in joining the group: http://battlestarfanclub.com/group/gunstar-trireme-gsr-0201

If flying a Viper isn’t your style, the Raven has many alternatives. You could join The Marines, Engineering, Security, Sick Bay and more. Take a look at the Ravens web site at this link: www.battlestarraven-bfc-002.com  Click on Ship Departments to see everything the Raven has to offer; you’ll be glad you did!!!!! The choice is entirely up to you. Note: Pesently the site was moved to a new server and it’s under construction, but you can see the departments except for the Airwing.

I am Captain Reamer squadron leader of the Flying Tiger's. I am always looking for a few more Viper pilots to join my group as well.

SO SAY WE ALL! ! ! ! !

Welcome to the Raven,Mirage!

Since you have Chosen to Fly Vipers,I will Provide you with the Link to the Viper Training Manual:

The Qualification test is in the back; When you are ready to take the test,Simply E-Mail your Answers to Admiral Miguel Rivera at cag_vf84@yahoo.com; He will grade your Test,When he can, then get back to you with your Score, Certification Certificate, and Viper Tail Number(VTN);As of rcent,he has had to deal with a Real-World Issue,So I would Advise Patience; In the Meantime,You might want to think About Which Viper you will Fly(Mk. II or VII).

Next, the Raven has Several Viper Squadrons; The ones in Most Need of Pilots are HAMMERS SQUADRON,PERSEUS SQUADRON,MINOTAUR SQUADRON,and BLUE SQUADRON,Flying the Classic Mk.Is; Also, there are SPARTAN SQUADRON(The Raven's First Squadron),and FLYING TIGERS SQUADRON(The Most Active);Choose Wisely!

Also, If You wish, the Raptor Training Manual Is Available.

Finally, If you have any Questions,Concerns,Thoughts or Ideas,Feel free to Bring them to Us!

Good Hunting!                   So Say We All!
