Sorry for delayed response here.  I have been very busy with real life responsibilities and at the same time, trying to juggle my responsibilities here at BFC.

First off, a deep heart felt CONGRATULATIONS to Dan Allan for the award.  This award is very well deserve indeed.  You and President ODonnell have been a great mentor to me so far.  For that, I thank you both.  And you both know I speak my mind off.

To Tricia Helfer, hell frakking yes!  She is one of my all time favorite Female Cylon.  I also surely love that red dress she wears ;-) :-)

Congrats to Dan Allen! I have no doubt he's a deeply commited fan of BSG and I'm sure he deserves to have his name amongs this great group of actors.

About Aaron Douglas, Chief Tyrol was a great character of BSG, amongs the best.  Aaron is a commited BSG fan and a very bad ass guy ( you have to hear his stories during a Con, well, when he doesnt get late taking some good beer in a bar around the Con...)  As myself Canadian, I feel also proud to see his name in this Hall of Heros.

Aaron, thanks to make me laugh out loud every week with your posts on twitter and facebook.  Good luck to your dear Vancouver Canucks this NHL season (if no frakkin lock-out), I hope you will never have to put again this LA Kings jersey, I know, Will Wheaton is a quite evil guy...  :D

PS

The Chief was the one who was truly the heart and soul of the fleet. He was the one who invented the stealth fighter that saved the day, though his efforts were opposed by those in charge, and in doing so, unified the grunts with a common purpose and hope for the future,, while the pilots got all of the glory. He was the one who always repaired the Galactica and had to finally tell Commander Adama that she was on her last leg. His efforts were rewarded by a hearty “Frak you” if things were not working perfectly, to the point where even Commander Adama tried to kick his ars in the boxing ring. He was the one who showed the most character of all when he found out that his wife was unfaithful to him and his child was that of another man…and made sure that it was taken care of properly. He was the liaison between the officers who got all of the credit and glory, and the many nameless grunts who did all of the thankless work, but he was never allowed to wear the prestigious “Duty Blues, ” The Chief was truly a hero if ever there ever was a hero in Battlestar Galactica. He was all of us. He was the hero of Battlestar Galactica!

Congratulations Chief!

Congratulations Aaron Douglas! The “Chief” was the heart and soul of the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica series! Your portrayal of him was one of the most “human” of all, even if he was technically a Cylon! He was a humble “unsung hero.” He was a good decent guy caught in the middle of a monstrous mess, who always did his job and dealt with life as it came. He was the guy, faced with a thankless job, where everybody came to him, expecting him to fix their ships, situations, etc., and rarely if ever got a pat on the back or a thank you. As a Chief, if they weren’t happy, he heard about it…If they were happy, nothing was said. He was compassionate about the problems others faced, and gave sound practical advice. In the end, after he did his duty unto the end, I can see my self in him, and I completely understand his final statement in the end of the series when they found “new” Earth…”I’m tired of people.” He just wanted to live the rest of his life peaceably to him self, without all of the drama, just to enjoy God’s creation and live a simple life. The Chief and Commander Adama are two of the main characters I strive to pattern my life and attitudes after.

Congratulations Aaron Douglass! So say we ALL!

Congratulations Mr. Olmos!!!!

I have been eagerly waiting for you to get the Hero Award! One of the most inspiring movies I remember was Stand and Deliver…Blade Runner was a real cutting edge movie, and your work as Commander Adama…Frakin’ Fantastic…and the’s no felgarcarb!  In truth, I find my self trying to pattern my life after your portrayal of Commander Adama.  He is honorable, thinks things through quietly and effectively, and takes action regardless of the odds…Vencer o morir! He’s also very caring and compassionate towards others.  A great role model!  I can't effectively say how truly inspiring it has been to me personally!

Congratulations Admiral Olmos! So say we ALL!!!!

I would like to extend my very sincere, enthusiastic, and heart felt congratulations to Katee Sackhoff! I must admit, when I first saw the new Battlestar Galactica, and realized Starbuck and Boomer had become cute women...well it gave me a serious brain fart for a while...but soon I grew to appreciate them both greatly. I once thought of how it would be if Kara Thrace met up with Warf, and the huge bar room braul that would ensue! She is just the sort of woman that would excite him, because she can beat up anybody she meets, and she ain't backin down for nothin'!!!! Congratulations again, and if anybody don't like, beat'em up! So say we all! Good hunting!
:o)
