Setting the Stage

Greetings Pacifica Writers,

thanks for taking a look at the Simm I am excited to be doing this again and look forward to working with all of you on this great story.

As you all know this simm is based on the Original Battlestar Galactica and takes place before the Destruction of the Colonies.

I hope to start setting the Stage for that by the end of this month. My thoughts are to start with pieces of a Fan Fiction story I have been working on for a few years which will set the Stage for the Game.

Basically what i am proposing is that this be a part of the Final Destruction at a point a few 10 Yahrens before the destruction. we will begin with the story of Baltar being captured by my character Centurion on the Planet Carrillon. some unusual twists though will make for the Centurion Character to actually become a part of the Pacifica Crew at some point in the story. (the crew will go to great lengths to keep this fact a secret from the rest of the fleet) this might make for some interesting storylines.

so having said that I want to open the table for all to weigh in on the story

sounds good to me. i'll let you take point, dan, then come in with my post which is a work in progress in my head already. i've had a bit of time to think on it at work as a means to keep myself awake. lol.

Hey all,

I took the time to add some more story plot line I promise though to keep it fairly short I am trying to get us to a point where Pacifica comes across the Carrillon expedition. narrowly saving him from certain destruction by a Cylon Raiding party, this is This will also be where Centurion finds himself aboard Pacifica (which should be an interesting tale in itself)

i added a bit too. not much but something i thought would be interesting and maybe a way for bruce's character to show his face if he decides to take that approach.
