"There are those who believe that life here began out there, far across the universe, with tribes of humans who may have been the forefathers of the Egyptians, or the Toltecs, or the Mayans. Some believe that there may yet be brothers of man who even now fight to survive, somewhere beyond the heavens."

I am afraid the soap opera style of shows is going by the way side in exchange for the action packed shows. Its sad because there seems to be less story and more action.

I loved Caprica but I feel it also failed because people expected an action drama and were treated to more of a 'soap opera' style drama.

Blood & Chrome will probably appeal to a wider audience if it has a more 'smash 'em up' action plot. I think that is also what is what SyFi is banking on. Let hope so. I don't want another series pulled.

What is the word on release date?

Yea, Caprica was kinda doomed from the start. Remember it was announced then went away. along came a writers strike so anything allready written and ready to go was a prize catch. Caprica was produced then looks like they backed out on it because it did not get the rating numbers they wanted. I think the higher-ups were not completly behind it from the start and thats why the plug was pulled the first time. I feel if the writers strike had not came along caprica would never have been. i also blame the mass run of "reality" TV on that strike.

From everything I have read it has more support of the powers that be at scifi then caprica did

I am looking foreward to it. I just hope it gets the budget to be done right and is allowed time to develop without getting the axe.

Meet Luke Pasqualino
Recently it was announced that Luke Pasqualino won the role of Young Adama in the new Scifi channel serie, "Blood and Chrome" Luke's first role came in 2008 when he starred in Stinger's Rule.
