Rumor has it that Universal Studio's with another company are looking into the possibility of a BSG movie. They said that when Star Trek next generation went into movie production that the series of movies were profitable. I hope that they decide to make a full length film. I would like to see the original characters also.
SO SAY WE ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are already familiar with the actors as well, and they clearly know what they are doing. There are SO many possibilities for settings in this one...An in between version would be great, because the original BSG actors have aged naturally, and the new BSG actors are still relatively young. No makeup problems! Also, if they would like to have any extras...I VOLUNTEER!!!! Sign me up! So say we all...me, my self, and I!
Also...Star Trek did so many time warp deals using both casts, and it worked fine...That's not really a BSG type thing yet, and Mr. Olmos did say that if there were any lizard man aliens, he was out of there...so any writers would have to keep that in mind.
What ever the case, it would be great to FINALLY have a good full length BSG movie with both casts! Absolutely! I again volunteer as an extra!
So say we all!

Permalink Reply by Daniel Allan on March 31, 2012 at 8:33am I would love to see what happened to the characters in the New BSG after landing on Earth.. that could make for some interesting stories.
as for the Original Battlestar? I would love to see that story Finished. I want to know what happened to those characters as well...
Permalink Reply by Kelly Wood on April 4, 2012 at 9:58am The movie is going to be based on the original BG, according to Bryan Singer, who's producing it. He's found a writer for the project. I believe I have a posting on here about it & also a group to discuss it.
