Hi Gary,
The gold memberships are sold out officially but can still be aquired, there are a few fans that have them that have decided not to come and we are helping them to sell those membships. It's a first come first serve basis and you can check with Amy on the Facebook page about that.
The cast will be at the show for all three days (at least right now that's the plan) they will also be (at their own discretion) attend the evening events. As well as signing autographs and doing photo shoots with fans.
They will lead panels for all the fans as well in short it will be a full weekend for you.
The Johnson space center event will include a tour and then dinner

I've never been to a convention before and have a few questions.

Will the cast be at any of the events or panels other than the photo ops?  What kind of activities can I expect outside of the listed panels?

I'm torn between the silver pass, and just picking what I want to do, and the gold, but I'm not clear on the full benefits.  I have been to johnson space center before so will that trip be much different?

I booked a room for me (but there're 4 king size beds unused) from 5/22/2013 - 5/27/2013 for $625.95 (taxes included).

Is anyone interested in sharing a hotel room in Hilton Americas 5/22/2013 - 5/27/2013? I have already booked and paid room for 5, but I'll be just one. Room is nonsmoking and with kingsize bed. I'm 23 years old student from Europe :-)

Both my husband and I will be attending. We are staying outside the hosting hotel, and will be both volunteering for the convention :) Hope to see you all there.

Updated my room booking this week for the convention rate.  Was able to add extra days seeing we are arriving on the 19th worked out cheaper to stay there for the whole time till we leave for LA.
