Battlestar Galactica "Blood and Chrome"

The SyFy channel is proposing to make Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome a web have all been waiting patiently...MORE than patiently waiting for BSG's return to screen, but I really don't think in that particular format.

As a matter of fact you HAVE been waiting for it to return as a regularly televised production on TELEVISION.

You know what a webisode is? You know what it's really good for?

Let me answer the second question's good as a compliment to a television show as was the case with Battlestar Galactica and with True Blood.

But as a substitute for Television show?

I think the original suggestion was 9 or 10 episodes clocking in at 10 minutes apiece all greenscreened.

Is THAT what you have been waiting for?

I really truly doubt it!

There is a time when everyone must make a stand...and now is the time when you are needed the most!

If something is worth having, then it is worth fighting for.

Make your voices be heard...and I will tell you a very direct way to make your voices be heard.

Send two lettters every Saturday (one each to the people/addresses listed below)...that's it.

Tell them (in a polite respectful way) that YOU want to see Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome on TELEVISION, not some ten minute blurb on the internet!

Please take a look at these 2 reports of what SyFy is thinking of doing to Battlestar & here as well.

You can write as long a letter as you want...or as short...doesn't can make copies that you can simply put into an envelope...WHATEVER works best for you!

For the price of two stamps a week, YOU can make a difference.

Rest assured that many more people are going to be doing the exact same you tell me what happens when a thousand people write a thousand letters times two?

Let's go higher...3000? 4000? Every week?

What message to you think that will send to the network?

What do you think it will say about WHAT the fans WANT?

The message will be crystal are the boss, the networks are there to put on what you want to see, not the other way around!

Success & Keep the Faith!

So say we all!

I realy like the first 5 minisodes of Blood And Chrome. It's an atmosphere that wer can connect to. i saw that David Eick is in the mix again, and that the great Bear Mccreary is making the music again for Blood and Chrome.  And because without Bear Battlestar Galactica 2003 would not been so epic, i just love it that he collaborates again with this one.

Now after seeing the first couple of mini/ episodes i am already hooked to the show.  Maybe because i am a prejudged, over the top, Frakkin admirer of the Battlestar Galactica 2003 i prey that they will get lift of with this, to make it a complete story.

And yes, the people who have the ropes in their hands that control this have to know that the fans are so eager to see this happen.

For me it's still not acceptable that there are for example so many star wars fans, merchandise, and so many bad movie lovers,   i still don't get it that not more people got this show in their hart.

There are many of us, but among the big population of people we are a rare breed still.  Battlestar Galactica 2003 for me is still to much underrated and i hope that more people in the future will find the gem in this fine piece of art.  Because if the group becomes a bit bigger, the actors will also be more active in the future to keep coming to events.

I find Blood and Chrome a sweet cherry om top of the already big cake.  Caprica, Blood and Chrome, Battlestar Galactica. .  - I hope to watch it in this sequence in about a year when they finish Blood and Chrome.

Only 1 thing.  Scifi,     don't cancel this one.  We will make you crazy with our requests to keep following the road you went into.

I think it's frakkin' cool. The acting is good, the CGI is good,.   I got the goosebombs when i saw the Battlestar Galactica in episode 1 or 2..   Like i said, i am hooked already.

Again, they are saying no to a series before they even see how the pilot does in the ratings. They have a ready made market, not sure why they won't exploit it.

Yes people! Let's do this! If Mail Could save Star Trek: TOS, it can get us more BSG on TV.

SYFY is not planning to do this as a web series. There have been no conversations of this and plans are going through as a regular TV series.

This is my twitter account that I created several months ago for BSG (BigGalacticaFan). In addition to your letters, please follow on twitter and tweet your support like crazy here and on your own twitter accounts. I only have 150 followers give or take, but the greater mass of them are SciFi related, and including many that are BSG related, production, reporters, media etc.

Please tweet your support on @BigGalacticaFanTwitter

Wow! Maybe everyone should use red envelopes. can you imagine if they got 2000 or 3000 red envelopes a week. lol Oh well. Do these individuals have other public access networking sites that people can go to and blog and leave messages on message boards?

Also what about the cast of these shows that the fans made to be so successful. We should have their support too. After all, it's the fans and viewers that kept their series on air for what 5 - 6 years? Why can't they take a moment and express support for the fan base in return for how we supported the show?

very informative. all i know is if syfy does not have blood and chrome as a tv show and not a web series i will have to boycott syfy. the shows they currently are airing basically stink. i mean wrestling, you got to be kidding me! doesnt syfy realize BSG put them on the map with emmy nominations was voted by tv guide as a hit series. BSG is a hit all over the world, i mean what more does syfy want. syfy can make alot of profit from the merchandise, cd sales and the commercials advertisers would pay to show and sell their product which would provide syfy with huge profits. i will be very disappointed with syfy if they shelf this tv series. syfy be scifi not another regular tv company!
